THE PROBLEM
If the body is a perfect machine, what happens when Cholesterol Efflux malfunctions? Cardiologists currently do not appreciate the significance of how a drop in cholesterol efflux over time can result in a cardiovascular event. We want to make cardiologists aware of the role of cholesterol efflux and the impact it can have on their patients.
THE IDEA
We transformed the body into a factory based on the accurate anatomy of the body. We turned the vessels into conveyor belts and the heart into a machine, to take cardiologists on a journey around the body, from the point of view of a cholesterol ball. As time passed in the factory, we see everything begin to go wrong, with the cholesterol efflux machine breaking down, causing an emergency within the factory. This has allowed cardiologists to experience what happens when cholesterol efflux malfunctions, educating them about the impact it can have on their patients.
